Locus Java Troubleshooting

Is Java Working?

Running Locus requires Sun Java, version 1.5 or later. If Java is working, you should see a ticking clock applet. Please click 'OK' or 'Run' on any popup messages.

If you do not see a clock applet or if you see any errors, you may need to download or upgrade your version of Java.

If You Need to Install Java...

Please note that to install Java, you must have administrator privileges (access rights for installing software) on this computer.

NOTE: If you do not have administrator privileges, please contact your IT support staff to assist with installing or troubleshooting your Java installation.

To download the latest version of Java on your computer, please visit http://java.com, click the "Free Java Download" button, and follow instructions.
